🧠 How to Use It

The footprint helps you analyze what’s happening inside the candle (volume, delta, imbalances, and aggression) in a way that standard candles cannot show. Here’s how traders typically use it:

• Absorption Detection: Watch for large bid volume and delta negative, but price holds – potential buyer absorbing at support.
• Imbalance Breakouts: Consecutive aggressive ask imbalances can signal breakout strength – especially when aligned with trend.
• Delta Reversals: A candle making a higher high but negative delta may suggest a reversal – “lift the offer, nobody follows”.
• POC Shifts: Track POC location across candles – rising POC in uptrend confirms aggressive interest at higher prices.
